I am trying to up grade my computer from win98 to xp. I have done this before
but had to reformat my computer and now having trouble. I keep getting this
message.
Fatal error
Setup failed to install products catalog. This is a fatal error. The
setup log files should contain more information.
Error
The signature for windows xp home edition setup is invalad the error code
is fffffdf0.

Can anyone help me with this?

How are you trying to upgrade? Running XP's setup from within 98 or booting
from the XP CD? You should be booting from the XP CD to do it right.

You go into the BIOS and change the boot order to make the CD the first
device.
