I seem to be having the same problem with winXP. under the audio tab it just
shows Modem "0" line playback. when trying to play anything from media player
it says that we need to install a sound card, which IS installed with no
conflicks.
the computer itself makes all the regular sounds as far "dings &
whistles"...I am
kind of at a stand still at what to do also....thanks!! pennie
