Win2000 Update Rollup 1.. keeps installing over and over!!!!!!

What has happened with this update for me ?? it keeps installing.. or fails.
I've tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, installing it more than once,
installing it in Safe Mode. The damn thing wont install and keeps being found


Ready to kill it ! can I change something in the registry to force it as
found ?? and should I check if the files are updated...

Hi,

Sometimes, if MDAC and/or MSXML 4 is not up to date, Windows Update/
Automatic Update doesn't see the Rollup 1 as installed:

In the thread in the link above Dave Hawley mentioned that the problem
seemed to be caused by

He found this from running MBSA 1.2.1
