Win2k service pack & adding new hardware

I installed Windows 2000 and all service updates from Windows Update and now
I can't add my camera USB driver (Canon Powershot S45) and I had same problem
with sound card driver (Creative Audigy) - hardware installation programs
ends with error 'invalid information' (in Czech) after finding the correct
INF file. I had no problems in previous Windows installations when I didn't
install updates (or installed drivers before windows updates).
