Win2k Sp3 Not communicating with WSUS

Hello!

I have WSUS implemented in a virtual test environment (VS2005) and it is
working fabulously with 2003, XP and Vista however 2000 seems to be being a
pain. This is my virtual environment.

2003SP2 - DC
2003SP2 - WSUS Server/ SQL Server - Member server
Vista - WSUS Client
XPSP2 - WSUS Client
2K - WSUS Client

The WSUS server is using Port 8530. The Group policy settings are obviously
being applied to the system as the windows update applets settings in control
panel are all greyed out. There is no windowsupdate.log file in the winnt
folder.

Anyone have any ideas of anything to try to get it to talk? As I said the
group policy settings are definately working however its not downloading or
detecting updates.

Do you have to do that manually? When you install SP3 it adds automatic
updates to the control panel.
