Win7Pro and environmental variables

Hi,

I have tested some applications with a Norwegian version of Win7Pro and
found to my surprise that its envronmental variables are set to the
English default version:

%userprofile% is
C:\Users\ThisUser
but should have been:
C:\Brukere\ThisUser

%programfiles% is
C:\Program Files
but should have been:
C:\Programfiler

How can we use system variables to find current pathnames where these
fundamental variables are not correctly set? What am I missing..?

Yeah. Foreign versions are in English with translation in the UI
