The endless reboot problem can be caused by many things.
Can you boot into "safe mode"? If so you have much
better options. You might want to list your PC
configuration here: processor, motherboard, graphics
board, etc. I had the same problem on an AMD64 system
and it turned out to be a certain driver that offended
the new DEP feature. I was able to resolve by removing
the offending software (or deactivating DEP). You many
have similar or very different problem. Browse this
board for similar issues and you will gain some insight.
At any rate, if you can boot into safe mode you can at
least use system restore to get you back to your
previous, working, configuration of Windows (SP1?). That
was my starting point. Good luck!
