Window dreamScene

When i try to play windows dreamscene content on Vista Ultimate, I just get a
black screen, It seems like its playing because I can right click on the
desktop and select pause and then I am able to start it but the whole desktop
is black. Any Ideas?

It's a bug from somewhere, obviously, and it occurs here too. My work-around
was to use Windows Media Encoder to covert the .mpg files to .wmv format. I
was wondering when someone would mention this bug, so thanks for doing so.

ok, got it fixed, not sure which one it was, but I uninstalled Roxio media
creator 9 and then installed teh updated ATI driver - Catalyst 9.7 and it
works again.

Not sure which thing did it but I uninstalled roxio EMC9 and then installed
the new ATI driver - catalyst 9.7 and it works again, I als installed teh
9.7 hotfix and it still works.

I have EMC9 running here with no interference with DreamScene unless lack of
ability to get sound is a symptom.

Have you changed you theme selection to Aero? Dreamscean content will onlt
show up if you have selected AERO as you window Theme
