I am running Windows XP 64. In my Window folder I have, I believe, a
folder called syswow64. These all refer to the Vista operating system.
Is it safe to remove these files?
Thank you.
Jim

When I googled syswow64 it seemed all references were to Vista.
Thanks so much for your help.

Hi,

No, don't remove that folder or the files in it. It is used to run 32-bit
applications and routines on your system.
