window minimises when hovering over a subject

Eg
When reading a message or instruction in a window the window automatically
minimises and goes to task bar. This is particularly frustrating and is
obviousily easily remedied, but how ? I am using the internal mouse on a
Toshiba laptop.

It's the touchpad that is causing this problem. Go to the touchpad
properties in Control Panel and look at the optional settings. Look for
something like 'zones' that can be configured to minimize windows.

Hi Ronnie
The touchpad details only has the following options, to change :-
buttons,pointer, pointer options, wheel, hardware and device settings.
Within these options there are no references to zones or similar.

Here are a couple of replies from other users of Toshiba laptops who had
this same problem.
