Window Resizing Problem

When ever I switch between normal or default screen size to full screen
display, Vista lock-ups and won't even allow a reboot. This occurs inside
Internet Explorer (YouTube normal to full screen) it also happen within
Windows Media Player, when ever I switch between screen sizes. Any ideas?
System info below.

Windows Vista Home Premium (SP1 installed)
Dell Inspiron 530S - Intel Duo Core processors @ 2.53 GHz - 4.0 GB of ram.

Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family display adapter. Standard 24 inch Dell
monitor.

I would refresh the display driver in Device Manager. Highlight the device
in Control Panel/Device Manager, and use the Action menu to "Uninstall" (do
not check the box to delete the driver) then Action menu, "scan for hardware
changes."
