window update error

everytime i try to up update my computer on the site, it keeps on showing an
error 0x800C0008h

Specifically, when does 0x800C0008 show up ... from Automatic Updates,
when first accessing the Windows/Microsoft Update website, when clicking
the scan button, when choosing Express or Custom, etc ?

Error code 0x800C0008 *may* be an indication that malware is present.
