When trying to perform a windows update I get the message, "Set up was unable
to install all the components. Please close all applications ant try running
Setrup again". I have tried everything but Setup will still not complete.
It may be unrelated but every time I start up my computer i get the error
message "C:/PROGRAM~1/WILDTA~1/APPS/CDA/CDAENG~1.DLL The system cannot find
the specified path" Any suggestions?

Wild Tangent or other "unwanted software" was/is on the system. Have you
scanned it lately to confirm the system's present state ?
Suggest you download, install, and update :
AdAware SE
Spybot
CWShredder

Links to the above plus links to tutorials for them can be found here :

It sounds as if you are attempting to install an upgrade for IE. Please,
do NOT attempt to upgrade IE until you can affirm that the system is
free of "unwanted software".
Once you've done the above, try this. Show hidden files, folders, and
system files :

Create a new folder in My Documents and name it IEBak.
Navigate to the Program Files\Internet Explorer\Uninstall Information
folder. Move ALL of the files to IEBak.
Now try running Setup again.
If the upgrade to IE is successful then you can delete the IEBak folder.
If not, move all of the files back to their former location and then
delete the IEBak folder.

You may not have to do the above if the system is free of malware. On
the other hand, some Antivirus programs will cause this behavior, also,
Norton being one of them.
