Also, if you are using a microsoft wireless mouse, there is an optional
windows update that fixes a conflict with it that prevented hibernation and
screen saver from being activated. Install the Optional Hardware Update that
is named Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter from the microsoft update
site. It solved my problem.
