i dont get the chance to read it all but towards the end i read dumping
memory and then suddenly it shuts down alone and then restarts normally and
so i get back to working normal ...but this has happened with me twice so far
during the past 4 days. any idea as to why ? or if any one has experiened
this and what is the cause of it ??? please ??

If you "just bought" the laptop, take it back and insist they either
give you a new one with a real OS like XP or Ubuntu, preferably Ubuntu.

So, sport, what advice would you give the OP, being as you constantly
telling everyone how great it is and what a Vista expert you are?

Really? I don't think so:

http://www.dell.com/content/topics/s...=19&l=en&s=dhs

You can also get a laptop with Ubuntu from Dell.

Two points:

1. You are presumably blue-screening, and you are set to reboot
whenever that happens. Right-click Computer, and choose Properties. Go
to "Advanced system settings," click Settings under Startup and
Recovery. Under System failure, uncheck the box "Automatically
restart.

Now when the problem occurs again, instead of restarting, you will get
the blue screen with diagnostic information. Post back with those
details for more help.

2. This is highly likely to be a hardware problem rather than a
Windows one, and you should get it replaced or repaired under your
warranty.
