Window won't open

For several online applications I use, a window will appear for a split
second and disappear. The window never opens. What is causing this to
happen? How can I fix this?

what antivirus are u using , because i use avg7.5 , and every now and then i
would get a really fast flicker , and mine was to do with i had set avg to
show update on screen , this might be the wrong answer but its worth a go ,
