Windows 2000 - Auto updates failed

This was first attempt at this...when I checked install history it said they
failed to install. How do I get at those updates to try again, since the
Update system thinks I got them already?

Second unrelated question: I have no clue what this is, but I keep getting a
message that goes like this "ViaVoice options error: Failed to load local
language module" What's it mean? Can I fix it?

Please keep it simple...I barely figured out how to navigate this site!
