Windows 2000 machines do not boot after updates

I have serval 2000 machines that do not boot after Automation update runs and
reboots the machine.. The users can log in but then it stays at a blue screen.

Any ideas on how to recover these machines with out ripping the hard drive
out and rebuilding????

I am having a similar problem, the machine gets to the normal screen but does
not load up the icons?? and is unuseable! Any ideas?

Try booting in safe mode and uninstalling the updates.
