Hello,

I am running on Windows 2000 SP4 and I have 12 critical updates that Windows
has downloaded, but fails to install without an error message. It simply
states I have a problem with my computer preventing the updates from being
installed.

I have tried installing them one by one, but they always fail with the same
error message.

I realize there is a solution concerning Windows XP, about repaired
installations. I have repaired my Windows 2000 Pro with its CD once, do you
think I can solve the issue with the XP solution?

I would apreciate any ideas, because I am not applying that XP solution
since I'm afraid it is not compatible.

Thank you.

Tip: Temporarily disable real-time protection by your anti-virus and/or
anti-spyware applications (e.g., CounterSpy, Spysweeper, Spybot Tea Timer,
AVG Anti-Spyware) and/or any third-party firewall (e.g., ZA) before
attempting to install the update(s).
