I need to repair my Windows 2000 but I can't access any of my rom drives
(either the CD rom or the CD burner drive) and I keep getting errors with my
floppy drive of "Disk or I/O error". Because of this I can't use either my
install CD or my floppy boot and repair disks. Is there a way to do this
from Microsoft's website since I have my Key number for Windows 2000 Pro
Service Pack 4? I'm getting desperate here as this has been going on for
over 10 days. I accidentally executed an audio driver I had downlowded from
Compaq's site for my Presario laptop, and I think it has overwritten the
drivers I need to help my motherboard recognize my printer, CD rom, CD burner
and floppy drives. Also, my USB is showing as a 'problem defice' under
device manager. Any suggestions will be much appreciated!
