windows 2000 security update

I'm using win 2000 pro and am trying to update it but every time I try to do
a security update the following updates fail to load in my computer
kb837001
kb828741
kb835732
kb828749
kb824105

Hi;

When they fail to install, what error messages do you receive? You may need
to check the Windows Update.log file for that session to see the error
codes.

Also, what Service Pack are you using on that Win2000 system?

Thanks for the reply sky king. How do I check the update.log file for the
error codes and how do i check to see what service pack I'm using?

The file is C:\Windows\Windows Update.log and you can open it with any text
editor (Notepad, for instance). It may be rather large, so you are only
interested in the bottom few lines dealing with your most recent Windows
Update session.

Click Start/Run and enter WINVER and then press Enter. That will tell you
your service pack level.
