"Jhune",
You removed it with Add/Remove Programs, now let's try it from the command line:
Uninstall Windows 2000 SP4 from a Command Prompt
1. Click Start
2. Click Run
3. Type cmd, and then click OK.
4. As the Command prompt opens, right-click on the upper border of the window.
5. In the menu, click Properties
6. On the Options tab, in the Edit Options section, make sure that the QuickEdit
Mode is checked. If not, check it and click OK.
7. If asked how to apply the changes, choose the option: Save properties for
future windows with the same title.
8. In the Command Prompt, type or copy the following, and then press <Enter>:
%systemdrive% <--You can paste by right-clicking anywhere inside the
Command Prompt window, and it will place the text at the prompt.
9. Type or copy the following, and then press <Enter>:
cd %windir%\$NtServicePackUninstall$\spuninst
10. Type: spuninst.exe <Enter>
11. This should walk through the uninstallation again and check for the things
it missed.
Please write back and let us know how this goes.
Sincerely,
Pat Walters [MSFT]
