Windows 2000 servers can't update

Hi there

We have five Windows 2000 servers behind an ISA proxy. They simply show
error 0x80072F78. No events are written to the Event logs. I tried running
the KB842773 BITS update, but it didn't help. The winhttp proxy dll that it
mentions is where it belongs. IE (6) is set to use the proxy server.

Any ideas what I can do to get this working? Could it be something on the
ISA server?

Thanks, Neal

Definitely. Do you allow anonymous connections through it?

Thanks for the info! Solved.

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=885819 had the answer, but... I could not
install the update, so use the workround described (added destination set to
ISA) and it worked.

Thanks, Neal.
