can any one help in getting service pack 4 on cd please

Download the entire SP4 file from the Microsoft Download
Center. Extract the file's contents using the /X switch
to an empty folder. Burn the contents to a CD-R.

but i do have a problems with downloading i am getting hit by trojans and
all sorts which is causing a problem getting service pack 4 this is why i am
asking is there any where i can get it on cd or order it, thanks you for your

And what are you doing about all this malware, spyware and
viruses? The computer should certainly be protected by an
anti-virus and anti-adware/spyware application as well as
sitting behind a firewall. If not, get these installed.

i have a anti virus in (avast) and a firewall (sygate) it is setting of the
avast ( anti virus ) and locking the computer or stopping the download

Don't know Avast but am hazarding a guess that it might be
stopping the download because the SP4 downloadable file is a
self-executable, that is, an *.exe file. Is there an option
in Avast to work around this?

problem solved gone back to linux

more reliable and stable
