Windows 2000 service pack 4 install error!!!!

when i try to install it, this message occurs:

"C:/winnt/system32/drives/atapi.sys is open or in use"

and i closed everything including any processes that coul be shut off
and it still would not fix this problem

Help Please?!

Hi

This error message can be caused by virtual drives software.

If you are using any virtual drives, for example Daemon Tools or
Alcohol's virtual drive, then you must disable them, and in the case
of Daemon Tools uninstall the program.

Alternatively, try to rename the file before (or while) you
install the service pack:

When the installation complains about Atapi.sys and asks you to
"Retry" or "Cancel", simply go to Windows/System32/Drivers and
rename Atapi.sys to whatever. Then go back to the installation
and select "Retry" - the installation should then complete.
