The typical way of installing Windows 2000 SP4 is to really
execute the downloaded file. It will self-extract somewhere
to a temporary folder and proceed more or less automatically.
But if one wishes to first expand the SP4 download and install
from there, then be precise about its location. One can simply
copy the entire extraction to a CD-R disc. Run Update from the
CD-R (or from the specified location). Should work OK.
