Windows 2000 SP4 Update

When I try to udpdate to SP 4, , at the very end of the update process
(during running processes), I get the rror message "Unable to connect to
metabase".

When I the click o.k. the message "Setup failed to remove ism.dll script
mappings. Service Pack will abort."

I couldn't find anything that specifically relates to this problem on the MS
web site.

Anyone out there with an idea for help?
