Can I upgrade from Windows 2000 Professional SP4 direct to Vista
without reformatting my 300GB main hard disk?

Hello Ian,

Windows 2000 requires a reinstallation.

Hello Meinolf, thank you for your reply. Do you have a link for
upgrading from W2K to XP Professional? From reading other posts about
Vista and its incompatibilities with multimedia, I have decided not to
go the Vista route for another 100 years - then only maybe - but the
most pressing issue is to get all my ducks in a row and all my
computers on the same platform - XP Professional. Can I upgrade from
Windows 2000 SP4 to XP Professional without a C: drive reformat? My C
drive is 300GB!

Thanks.
Ian

Hello Ian,

Normally just put in the XP disk in the running Windows session and it will
gave you the avaiable options.
