Windows 2000 update

I have not been able to complete a Windows update since I installed 2000. The
update goes through the "search for updates" (runs about five minutes with
the green bar going across the screen thens comes back with an error message
saying it cannot continue.

What ServicePack for W2K do you have?

How/where do I Identify service pack number

Two ways, pick one or do both:

1. Start | Run ... winver
2. Control Panel | System ... General Tab information should tell you

You can also download and install Belarc Advisor ... tells you EVERYTHING
about your system (patches, security, product keys, ...). Will also tell
you if you're up-to-date.
