1-7 ok.
7.5 make the new DCs also DNS server, on the 2000 DC/DNS use AD integrated
zones, so you have only to install DNS server and WAIT for replciation, do
NOT configure the DNS server even if prompted. Give it time and AD will do
the rest.
7.6 make the new DCs also Global catalog server.
8-9 ok.
9.5 make the second new DC also DNS/GC
9.6 reconfigure all domain machines to use the new DNS servers on the NIC,
also other machines like printers, scanners whatever
9.7 disconnect the old DCs from the domain BEFORE demoting and check that
everything works for some days.
10 ok.
