Windows 2003 Reboot frequency

hi everybody,
i want to know if there is best practice for the reboot frequency of Windows
2003 server.

Hello Laurent,

We do it only after the patchday, if we have applied some. Not patched machines
sometimes run about 6 month or longer. Basically there is no recommendation
about from MS as far as i know.

Only when required. For example after applying Patch Tuesday updates.
Otherwise, never.

I believe, though, that in the case of Citrix, most admins will reboot
on some kind of schedule. With older versions of MetaFrameXP, it was at
least weekly, if not daily. Lately, though, with XenApp, it's not as often.
