Hi,

Can I please get clarification on how the automatic updates work.
I have a server set to automaically install the windows update.
Now I know this will install critical updates automatically. What I am
nore sure of is how are device driver updates handled with this
setting.

1. Are device driver updates alway optional - and the user would
have to go into windows update manually and install them?

2. Alternativly are they automatically installed installed?

If the response is something like option 2 is there a way you
can protect a device driver to make sure windows update will not
overwrite it?

(I am hopeing the is a Microsoft Knowledgebase article) that explains
this - please let me know if there is a reference to this).

Thanks,

Ward.
