It is not save to delete Windows file or whose you are not familar with. Try Windows cleanup utility, it will help you free up some free space.
You'd better resize the partition to extend the C drive, by this way, your problem can be solved permenately.
Backup your imporant files before this operation. For more details, see this guide <a href=http://www.hdd-tool.com/partition-manager/how-to-solve-c-drive-run-out-of-space-problem.htm>how to solve drive running out of space problem</a>

Windows 2003 Server - Running Out of Disk Space
09-Apr-07
I have a Windows 2003 Server with mirrored 8 GByte SCSI disk drives. With
the installation of SP2, I am running pretty low on disk space (< 1GByte of
free space). The system has a 200 GByte IDE drive that has lots of space
I suspect that a lot of space on my primary mirrored drives is being used up
by backup files for rollbacks of various windows updates that I have
downloaded over the last 2-3 years. Is there any way to move these files to
my 200 GByte drive? If this is not possible, is there a way I can delete
the rollback files for the updates that are know to be stable
Thanks
