Windows 2003 SP2 Update Fails

I recently upgraded from Windows 2000 Server to Windows 2003 Server. When I
tried to update the install with SP2 I get about 2/3 thru the update and it
fails - error code:0x8007f070

0x8007f070 is a generic error that translates to-
An error in updating your system has occurred

Not much help there, is it ? Suggest you check the WindowsUpdate.log and
svcpack.log, both located in %windir%, for more specific error codes.

If the WindowsUpdate.log shows error 0x80041002, then rebuild the WMI
data as indicated in the thread.
If the error code differs, post back with it or post it to the WS 2003
