I am having intermittant problems accessing a foreign 2005 SBS DC (domain B)
from my workstation. My workstation is a member of another domain domain A
which is also a 2005 SBS. When we run a program that moves files to this
server just after a boot everything works fine. After a few minutes the
same operation fails with a message stating I don't have permission anymore.
If we reboot it works for a short while again. We are using UNC names to
move the files. We get he same problem from Vista and XP SP3 workstations
that are all member of domain A. Mapping the foreign drive doesn't work
either. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hello Charles,

For SBS related questions please use:
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

Do you mean 2003 or 2008 SBS version never heard about 2005 SBS.

Also give some more info about your DNS setup and which accounts are used
to create the mapping to the other domain?

Best regards
