Hello all
For testing purposes, i am planning on installing Hyper-V on two physical
nodes that are running Windows 2008 Enterprise. Once Hyper-V is installed, i
will install failover clustering, and then create some guest OS's. The Guest
OS's will be running Windows 2008 enterprise, and Exchange 2007. I plan on
installing Exchange 2007 in a CCR cluster. My questisons are
#1 is this evan possible? I know Exchange 2007 clustering is a different
beast all together from Windows 2008 clustering, so i dont know if the guest
os's that are configured in a CCR cluster will work when running on a
hyper-v cluster
#2 Can i install Iscsi initiator on windows 2008? The storage location will
be on a netapp SAN. If i can use iscsi what version should i use for Windows
2008?
#3 Is failover automatic? meaning if i shutdown one of the physical nodes,
do all the hyper-V nodes automatically fail over to the passive standby
node?
Many thanks for any suggestions
