Hi there, just wondering if anyone knows anything about Windows 7 (the next
version of Windows). What will be the differences between this and Vista and
how is it going?

I'm looking forward!

The technical aspects can be found elsewhere. In addition, you can expect
moaning, hand-wringing, chin-quivering, profanity, blood-letting, abuse,
denigration, promises to switch to Linux, name-calling, threats,
I-told-you-so comments, tears, wailing, why-oh-why's, gunshots,
incomprehensible ramblings, and the like. Much like you find here.

The only factual information known about Windows 7 is that it will be based
on the Vista kernel which has been stated by Microsoft. Everything else is
rumor and conjecture. You'll hear endless rumors of the next few years.
