I hate Vista, and I work in IT! I recently purchased a laptop with Vista to
"test" it out, and it makes me sick. Now, several months later, Microsoft
comes out with a new system. UPGRADING SHOULD BE FREE!

So a new Operating System comes out and you think it should be FREE? Would
you spend millions of dollars creating a new product just to give it away?

If Vista makes you sick, maybe you should wipe your system clean, contact
Alias our resident Ubuntu troll and he will help you install Ubuntu on your
system.

Considering that it's Vista SP3, of course!

When Micro$lut creates a new product, be sure and alert the media!

Of course Ubuntu is free. Nobody wants it. Imagine if they charged for
Ubuntu? Then it would be on less than 0.000000000004 of the desktops!!!!

Ubuntu has been free and still is free and NOBODY wants the product. If
Ubuntu was that good, the word would spread like wildfire and everyone would
be installing it. That isn't the case. Live with it.

Why get on the guy's case? Many people have problems with Vista. MS even
more or less acknowledged this. He has a valid point. It should be a free
upgrade for Vista users. It's at least arguable.

A service pack to fix issues should be free and is free. Microsoft does fix
problems with their OS's. Maybe not as fast as we would like but they do
fix most of the problems. A new OS should not be free (unless you buy the
old OS within a certain time and then you do get to upgrade for free)
because Microsoft spends millions on development and should recoup their
investment.

Actually, it might increase the demand.

Yea, there are probably a few boneheads out there who would pay for the
product. In that case Ubuntu would be on 0.000000000005 of the desktops!!!!

You think the word is spreading like wildfire? You must have a diffent
definition of "spreading like wildfire" than the rest of the planet.

Quickly, hurry now, and take the laptop back. Wait for the new op system to
be released.

Buy laptop with new op system.

Now you are smiling eh?
