Hi !
I've written this before at Windows 7/email -forum and Windows Live forums,
and they say it's wrong forum... hopefully this is right

---------------------
You say that Windows LIVE Mail is compliant with Windows 7 ?
I have fatal problem with Windows Live Mail with receiving/sending emails
IMAP/POP -mail accounts. After I boot my computer and start Windows Live
Mail, IMAP-folders are updated ONLY ONCE, and then comes message box "Your
IMAP server has not responded in 60 seconds. Would you like to wait another
60 seconds to for server respond ?" Servername: imap.domainname.com" and
Account "Accountname". After 60 secs messagebox appears again... after that
again...
After that I can't receive (IMAP) or send mail (POP).
At same time I have laptop open with Vista 32-bit with Outlook 2007 with
same email-accounts and emails goes / comes all the time. Not server issue ?
If I reboot my W7 computer, IMAP-folders are updated (only) ONCE, then same
messagebox. This is not a firewall issue, because i've tried when firewall(s)
are disabled = "allow all traffic".
It's silly to reboot computer everytime if want to receive new mails.
Randomly I can send ONE mail message. If there is message waiting to be send,
it wouldn't go, it stays in sending queue.
I've deleted %temp% -directory, if it does affect anything. And I've once
reinstalled Live-services. And Windows 7 updates are up-to-date (today at
5:20pm GMT).
