Hi, again, Tom.
I just responded to your nearly identical message in alt.windows7.general.
There you made the apparently erroneous mistake of saying Outlook Express
storage folders, rather than Windows Live Mail storage folders, greatly
confusing the issue!
But I STILL don't know how Win7 updates can affect WLM storage folders.
Could you please clarify WHICH update(s) you are talking about?
And, when you MUST post the same message to more than one newsgroup, please
Crosspost, rather than Multi-post. That means to put ALL the newsgroup
addresses into the "Newsgroups..." box of a single message, rather than post
each copy individually to a separate newsgroup. That one message will
appear in all the NGs, but all the responses from all the groups will appear
in each group in a single coherent thread. Helpers in one group will see
that there have already been responses in another group and won't duplicate
the same advice. The payoff for you is that you won't have to visit all the
groups to see all the answers, but will see all of them in any one of the
groups.

Whenever Windows 7 updates, all of my saved email that has been stored in
storage folders is gone.
Windows Live Mail storage folders still show the From, Subject, and date of
all previously stored messages, but
selecting a message dated before the update results in a window that says
the message can't be found.
1. What's happening?
2. How do I store email so this doesn't happen?
