Windows 7 XP mode deletes files

I have just installed Windows 7 along with the new Windows Virtual PC and
the Windows XP mode. So I was playing around with in XP and went to my
computer to grab a file off my D drive on the "main" computer and when I
opened the folder the files just started to delete. I confirmed this by
going back to Win7 and the folders on the d drive I was looking in were
gone. I had backups but still this should not happen. I rebooted and the
same thing happened on a test folder I set up then looked it via the same
method.

Any thoughts?

Are you running NOD32 antivirus software in the VM? I've heard of
this happening if real time scanning is on.

If so, you have to disable real time scanning or uninstall NOD32 to
make it not do that.

Bob you nail it! Thanks for the info I guess I will have to take Nod32 out
and install Avast.

Thank you.
