Windows 8 Stopped Working Msg.

My poor mother has a hard time bringing up her documents and I've fooled with
her vista as much as my patience will tolerate. It's easy to be frustrated
when youre ignorant of comps. yourself. So here's the question: Everytime
we try to access a spreadsheet she already has in documents it displays "
Windows 8 has stopped working" If anyone has encountered and fixed this
problem can you explain it to me in " i don't know what I'm doing so talk
slow" terms. Much appreciated!!!! Thank you!!

I think you mean Microsoft WORKS 8.
