Windows 98 critical updates

Over the past three months I keep getting critical updates for KB 837009 and
823559. Though my system shows that these have been installed they continue
to show as updates needed. All other updates that Mocrosoft have sent have
been downloaded and installed and no longer repeat themselves. Can someone
please advise why I would continue to get these updates even when they have
been installed?

I too have the same problem, I have installed Security update 823559 about 5
times, when i look in my installation history it shows also that it has been
downloaded that many times. Does it just delete itself, so it needs to be re
installed again ? and again? and again? Would like some explanation. Many
