windows 98 hardware drivers

I am using a very old machine (1997) and I am trying to get the OS to
recognize a Cruzer Titanium 512MB memory stick. My system does not find
drivers to support the stick.

How can I get a fix until I get my own machine back?

Check with the motherboard manufacturer to determine if that size memory is
supported on that motherboard.
Most likely it is not.

This does not seem like a Windows Update problem. Please post questions and
answers to Windows Update issues in this forum. Perhaps a hardware
discussion group might have better resources.
