Windows Activation Was Successful Message

Lately I've been trouble shooting problem(s) with my Vista x32 sp2 start
menu.
2 times within the last week upon a reboot I get the message that
'Windows Activation was successful' even though it was activated
successfully over a month ago.
Also, at the bottom right side of the desktop the message:

'Windows Build 6002
This copy of Windows is not genuine'

When I reboot it goes away.

Any idea why this is happening? Never had this message before.

Thanks,
James

Got automatic updates configured to download and install updates without
your input? If so, you may well be another of the thousands of WGA false
positives victims. Call Microshit and raise hell.

Or it's possible you've been punked by malware. When you click on the
you're not genuine message, what happens?

I never clicked on it. I just rebooted and it was gone.
I was having problems with the start menu and I believe that Microsoft
Security Essential might
have been the culprit.

Your posts are all "ill informed". Better study up on computers because you
don't know anything about Ubuntu or Windows products.
