I had the same problem. I had previously went through the process of
validation and had an active X controll installed. I went to "Tools" in
taskbar Update Section - Managed Add Ons - disabled Genuine Advantage Tool
Active X control. Went to Internet Options - General Tab- View Objects -
Downloaded programmes - Highlighted Genuine Advantage Tool and deleted it.
Went to Updates and was able to successfully down load the G.A.T.
