Windows Aero Not Working!

I purchased an HP Pavillion Media Center m8120n last September with Windows
Vista Premium pre-installed. Everything including Windows Aero was working
perfectly fine.

Last Sunday, for some reason, my Windows Aero no longer work. I've tried
looking for a solution ever since with no luck. Any suggestions in how I
could resolve this?

I've actually found the Vista Help and Support useful in troubleshooting
this problem:

Make sure that the color is set to 32 bit, the monitor refresh rate is
higher than 10 hertz (Hz), the theme is set to Windows Vista, the color
scheme is set to Windows Aero, and window frame transparency is on.

Search for "Aero" in Help and Support to follow each of the above steps and
report back if you have no luck.

Also try re-running the Performance Index under
Control Panel\System and Maintenance\Performance Information and Tools
click "Update My Score"
If it's a laptop, make sure you have it plugged in and on High
Performance mode.
