Windows & automatic updates

Just got a new system running running windows xp pro. As I search for
updates, the express mode found sp3 to download an install. It installed
successfully but I have not been able to successfully install any updates
dates since. Running norton 360 and have tried disabling autoprotectmode and
its firewall, while enable the xp firewall, with no affect. Any ideas out
there?

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft
Update, or by using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP
installation:
