I recommend you check the Reliability Monitor and review Software Installs
and uninstalls, Application Failures, and the Miscellaneous Failures. Any
failure will show with a X. Click the X to determine the problem. You will
probably need to reinstall the OS. I believe your restore points were
removed when you ran the repair utility. If not, select the date your system
ran correctly and run restore.
