Windows Calendar: Making Reminders pop up on top of other windows

I'm using Windows Calendar (the one included w/Vista) for appointments, but I
sometimes miss reminder messages, since they are popping up underneath other
windows, and I don't always hear the chime. Does anyone know of a way to
force the reminder windows to pop up above all other windows?

If it matters, I'm using Vista 64-bit Business edition.

I can not find a fix for this problem but an alternative. What you ca
do is schedule a task to open a program at a certain time.

What I do is have it open a music file at the time of my appointment s
I know to look at my calendar. So at 3:00 when WE WILL ROCK YOU come
on, I know it is time to go get my daughter.

You can schedule daily, weekly, monthly, on start up or many differen
options and can open any program on your computer.

If you want you can set up two reminders, one as a pop up and one t
play the music. I just go to my calendar if I can't remember what th
music came on for.

Click on the Start menu, in the search box type in Task Scheduler
Click on Continue which will open the Task Scheduler.

Then select Create a Basic Task on the left side. Type in the name o
the reminder.

Click on the schedule you want the reminder to follow (daily
weekly...) then click next.

Enter the time and date of reminder. Click Next

Choose start a program. Click next (you can have it send you an emai
or display a message but the message goes under the other windows jus
like on the calendar.)

Browse for the program that you want to enter...again I go to Computer
the C drive, Users, User name (what ever your user name is on th
computer), Music, then the song I want to play.

Also just as an FYI you can not have two task with the same name. Yo
can delete or edit task with the Task Library in the Left side of th
screen
